Abstract
A city hospital is testing smart ICU rehabilitation beds connected to a hospital’s digital system. The beds can automatically record patients’ weight changes and send real-time data to nurses’ stations. They also have a “rehabilitation reminder” function that alerts medical staff when it’s time for patients to do simple movement exercises. Initial results show the smart beds have cut nurses’ workload by 15% while improving patient rehabilitation efficiency.
